Guest Speaker: Larry Moody

Larry Moody, Th. M, is the President Emeritus of Search Ministries. He was Search’s President and CEO from its inception in 1977 to 2017. Larry has also been involved with professional athletes since 1978. He served as Chaplain for the Baltimore Colts 1978-1983, and as one of the Chaplains to PGA Tour players, as well as the Champions Tour players, from 1981 to the present. Larry currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Regents of Dallas Theological Seminary and is the Board Chaplain for the Education Media Foundation (EMF Broadcasting/K-LOVE and Air 1). Larry has also been a member of the Caves Valley Golf Club Foundation for about 4 years. He currently serves on the Board of FCA Maryland.

For 50 years Larry has examined the evidences and arguments for and against Jesus Christ and the Bible. Much of this work was done in conversation with thousands of people who have questions and objections to these topics. This led to the groundbreaking work that Larry Moody and Ken Boa laid out with the book, I’m Glad You Asked. Today, Search continues to work with men and women in 26 cities across the country, in Latin America, and in China.

Larry and his wife Ruth live in Columbia, Maryland, where they raised their four children who all live nearby, along with their spouses and seven grandchildren.
