Board Member

We are grateful for our dedicated Board Members who serve to advise, oversee, volunteer, and donate to the mission of Frederick FCA. Board Members attend monthly meetings with FCA Staff and assist with advancing the mission of reaching every coach and athlete for Christ in Frederick County. We currently meet on the 2nd Thursday of the month (September through May) from 6:45 am - 8:00 am. Interested in information on becoming a Board Member? Field Staff

Frederick County FCA is currently looking to hire Full time Area Representatives to expand the ministry in the county.

Area Rep Job Purpose: The Area Representative develops and leads a team of volunteers that accomplish FCA's vision and mission throughout a set geographic area. He/she does this by making FCA known on the middle school, high school and college campuses and the communities in the area engaging the coaches and student athlete leaders to use the powerful medium of sports to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ.

College Intern

Interested in joining Frederick FCA as a summer intern?

Are you a college student who loves the Lord and loves sports? The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Summer Internship is just what you’ve been looking for. Combining sports and Christ, the internship gives a hands on ministry experience. Interns earn a salary planning ministry events, promoting and participating in FCA camps, and learning about discipleship from full time FCA staff.

Our College Summer Internship program lasts for 10 weeks. During this time you will learn valuable ministry and professional skills like marketing, written and verbal communication, planning, social media, video production and graphic design. We will help you raise financial support to pay you for your summer employment. For the 10 week College Internship Program, participants can earn $2,000 - $3,000. Part of the process of being on staff with FCA is to understand how a non-profit ministry is run. As staff members, we are required to raise our salary as well as administrative costs and any additional money that is required for activities to take place. As part of the College Internship Program, you will contact people in your community, friends, family members, and mentors to ask them to join in your efforts to raise financial support for the summer. The support you raise will be your paycheck up to the allotted amount. Any extra support you raise will go into supporting Frederick FCA as a ministry and helping other future members of the Internship Program. This amount will also help cover the expenses created beyond the salary, such as: merchandise, training, retreat expenses, postage and supplies for fundraising mailings, check processing fees and other administrative costs.  

You will receive 3 paychecks that will be divided evenly based on how much you have raised.  

The maximum salary for the 10 weeks is $3,000.00*
*Earnings will be taxed by the Federal Government just like any other job. 10% of funds raised automatically go to FCA Support Center.

Volunteer

Frederick FCA could not impact the number of coaches and athletes for Christ without the help of amazing volunteers! We need volunteers to help with various community events throughout the year, and during Power Camp every summer.
