Frankie Hourigan
Area Director
Frankie is excited to build a team of staff and board members at Frederick FCA. Frankie is a graduate of Grove City College ('10) where he studied finance and minored in psychology. He received a graduate assistant position at Penn State Erie (Behrend) where he earned his Masters in Business Administration in 2011. After working in sales in sporting/outdoor goods for a year and a half he felt called to FCA to work as an Area Representative in 2013. Since then he has worked closely with FCA Campus huddles across the county, serving as the Frederick FCA Internship Director and the Camp Director for our local Power Camp.
Frankie met his wife Kendra at a church small group in 2014 and got married in 2016! Kendra supports Frankie in his work with FCA and works as a civilian contractor at the Department of Energy. Together they enjoy serving in their church youth group, hiking, running, and spending time with family and friends!

Denise Ginsburg
Frederick Women's Ministry
Denise is an avid sports enthusiast involved in Basketball, Volleyball and Softball. She graduated from Westmont Hilltop High School in Johnstown, PA and went on to receive her degree from Saint Francis University, in Loretto, PA. She and her husband, Jeff live in New Market, MD with their 4 adult children, Jason, Courtney, Kyle and Zach.
2 Timothy 4:7 – "I try to live my life as the scripture says, to fight the good fight, finish the race and keep the faith. My love for the Lord and my passion for sports, has been such a gift in my life. Whether it has been playing in adult leagues or coaching at all levels, sports has been the one consistent place for me to share Christ with those around me. Joining FCA has been a true blessing to bring together the passions that Christ has put in me. Our vision for females in the sport’s world is to bring girls and women to the knowledge of Christ and serve and honor Him when we play, coach, work or are support for spouses that coach."

Luke Staley
Frederick City Area Representative
Luke joined and helped lead FCA club at Hood College for two years where he met local staff. After a couple years of meeting as a club, one-on-one and feeling a call to ministry, Luke mentioned that calling to Frankie after seeing a post about an open position in the fall of 2020.
Born in South Korea, Luke has lived in Frederick County, MD since being adopted as an infant at five months. He has two siblings and in December he proposed to his now fiance Madeléine!
Luke was a four-year varsity player and one-year team captain for Linganore High School, and played soccer at the Division III level for Hood College in Frederick MD, where he studied English and Political Science. Luke is currently a professional mixed martial artist and a purple belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu. Through a lifetime of playing sports himself, God has shown Luke firsthand how powerful of an influence athletics and coaches can have on young men and women. He has been given a strong desire by God to serve the community he grew up in through ministry with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Courtney Ginsburg
Administrative Assistant, Women's Ministry
Courtney, a native to the Frederick area, played basketball and lacrosse throughout her high school year. She went on to play at Alderson-Broaddus College where she majored in Athletic Training and minored in Strength Training and Conditioning. She served as a graduate assistant at Hood College as she earned her master’s in Human Sciences. Courtney loves being around athletics and enjoys helping others discover a heathier lifestyle and helping them work back from an injury. She loves the discipline of a running program and loves even more that the races she does are in Disney World.
Courtney serves as an Administrative Assistant in Women's Ministry and enjoys organizing and equipping the ministry leaders with what they need to impact coaches and athletes. She is touched when she has the privilege to see the Lord’s faithfulness in a coach or athletes’ life.

Jen Tereyla
Administrative Assistant to Area Director
Jen is a native of Maryland and currently lives in Mount Airy with her husband and three school age children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, including watching her children participate in soccer, martial arts, and English horse riding. Jen has enjoyed playing and watching sports her entire life. She loves seeing the impact this ministry has on coaches and athletes, as they are equipped to transform the world through Christ.
